Hadrian’s Wall Roman mosaic art trail commission
Very excited to be commissioned by Newcastle City Council to create a mosaic art trail on the historic fort settlement of Condercum along Hadrian’s Wall.
I spent a very enjoyable day with the residents of Benwell, Newcastle to explore ideas for the mosaics which will include Roman artefacts discovered on site.
The site featured on C4’s The Great British Dig some years ago.

We made our own mini mosaics and decorated Roman soldiers helmets as well as creating designs for the mosaics.
