A busy few mosaic weeks…

October 9, 2017

It’s been a busy few mosaic weeks, with the launch of the City of Culture Hull 2017 collaborative project with BAMM North. This installation of over 100 mosaic birds created in workshops with the local community and by artists now resides in Hull Paragon Interchange for one year.

I have also enjoyed a great mosaic workshop at my home studio in Huttons Ambo, near York.

And I am currently working all week with St Antony’s RC Primary School in Leeds to produce a prayer garden wall mosaic…photos to follow.

Work also in progress for my collaborative exhibition entitled ‘Re:defined’:

A group show of professional artists working in the region and beyond. Curated by sculptor Saffron Waghorn, the show will profile exceptional art in a variety of forms from across the region including artists, Sarah Daniels, Sue Kershaw, Anna Kirk Smith and Adele Howitt.

Starts: 4th November Ends: 15th January in Studio Eleven, 12 Humber Street, Fruit Market, Kingston Upon Hull, HU1 1TG
